The US narrow gauge conventions are always a great chance to catch up with the latest techniques, products and to meet our US-based readers and authors.
NGDU will have a stand at next week’s convention, in Augusta Maine. If you’re attending, we do hope that you’ll stop by to say G’Day. As well as looking out for new article ideas, we’ll share a summary of the convention in the January edition.
In the meantime… The October edition of NGDU has gone to the printers. This edition features “Jacksons Creek”, an atmospheric VR-themed exhibition layout. Plus there’s a simple false-front structure; a ‘how to’ installing battery R/C in On30 locomotives; two kit bash projects and a styrene scratch build. And – two fascinating prototype articles: on Tasmanian logging winches; and covering Melbourne’s “gasworks” narrow gauge operation. Issue 63 will be out at the end of September, once we’re back from the US.
